Commercial Use Convection Tunnel Oven for Baking Biscuits, Bread, and Cake in Shandong, China
Electric type
Tunnel ovens are continuous baking equipment which can be either direct gas-fired (DGF) or indirect heating units. The heart of high-speed production lines, they usually define the output capacity of the plant. A tunnel oven is continuous, rather than using a batch process. Tunnel ovens can be used to produce bread, pies, cakes, cooked meats, and many other items. Product moves through the oven on a conveyor.
The tunnel oven is a mechanical equipment designed to bake food using heat conduction, convection, and radiation. It features a long oven body, typically ranging from a minimum of 6 meters to a length of 60-80 meters. The baking room within the oven is a narrow tunnel, usually measuring between 80cm to 140cm in width. Inside the tunnel, there is a conveyor system that runs continuously. As the food is baked, it undergoes relative motion with the electric heating element or direct combustion rod through the conveyor chain plate, steel belt, or mesh belt. This motion ensures uniform baking and efficient transportation. The tunnel oven enables continuous production, offering high efficiency, labor savings, and consistent baking quality.
